The NHL season started yesterday with the two-time defending champs raising their banner. The season gets going in full over the next few days. There will be a bunch of sharp and public action over the next few months, but first, lets take a look at the Futures markets.

In this report, we’ll go through the different NHL markets. We’ll take a look at where the sharps and the public are concentrating their action. We’ll look at the Stanley Cup and Conference Title markets.

STANLEY CUP MARKET

The professional bettors (sharps) are betting on:
🏒 Lightning +1100
🏒 Oilers +800

The public is on:
🏒 Avalanche +850
🏒 Golden Knights +800
🏒 Maple Leafs +1600
🏒 Panthers +1100

The largest liabilities are (in order) are the Sharks, Blues, Canadiens, Maple Leafs, and Avalanche. The Oilers, Blackhawks, Golden Knights and Panthers are borderline.  

Many teams are good outcomes, but, the one with the most realistic shot are the Oilers, Hurricanes, Stars, and Lightning.

CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP MARKETS

Eastern Conference

The professional bettors (sharps) are betting on:
🏒 Lightning +475

The public is on:
🏒 Maple Leafs +700
🏒 Panthers +500

The highest liabilities are (in order) the Canadiens and Capitals. The Red Wings and Rangers are borderline.

Many teams are good outcomes, but, the ones with the most realistic shot are the Hurricanes, Lightning, Panthers, Devils, and Maple Leafs.

Western Conference

The professional bettors (sharps) are betting on:
🏒 Oilers +425

The public is on:
🏒 Avalanche +425
🏒 Golden Knights +400
🏒 Kings +1100
🏒 Stars +475

The highest liabilities are (in order) the Sharks, Blues, and Ducks. The Kings and Mammoth are borderline.

Many teams are good outcomes, but the ones with the most realistic shot are the Golden Knights, Avalanche, Oilers, and Stars.
